Ingredient of the week
Garlic is has always been known since time immemorial for its is common and a must have ingredient especially during this season of staying home. Garlic is hypotensive in nature which means it decreases blood pressure thus help in keeping heart disease at bay. It also helps to normalize blood sugar thus would be helpful to the diabetics (hypoglycemic). If you are struggling with high levels of cholesterol especially the bad one (Low density lipoprotein) then use garlic in your food as much as possible. Research shows it not only stimulates the defense activities of the body but also promotes waste removal in the body!
What a powerful ingredient to add to your food often. Some people find the smell of garlic especially when raw to be offensive. I thus recommend to cook it so as to minimize the smell. If you enjoy eating garlic when raw, why not use it in your sauces too!
